Job description

Location: Arran High School, Lamlash, Isle of Arran, KA27 8NG

Rate: £12.60 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 27.5 hours per week

Job Summary

We may conduct interviews in person or via Microsoft Teams for video calling. You will need a device with a camera and internet access. Guidance and instructions will be provided for virtual interviews.

Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will assist in providing a quality catering service at this location and satellite sites as required. As a Facilities Assistant in the kitchen, your duties will include preparing and serving meals, operating a till, and cleaning. You should be able to work under pressure, be a team player, and adhere to food safety and nutritional guidelines. Flexibility regarding start and finish times to meet service needs is desirable. Working hours are from 09:30 am to 15:00 pm, Monday to Friday. This position is term-time only. The start date is subject to PVG and Occupational Health Checks.
