Overview

We are looking for a Facilities Assistant - Catering to join our Catering Team at Wathwood Hospital, Wath upon Dearne.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the day to day running of the kitchen at Wathwood Hospital providing meals for patients, staff and visitors.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and catering services.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork in line with trust policies and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Previous experience of working within a catering environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
  • 30 hours per week – 6 hour shifts, 5 days/7 (including weekends and Bank Holidays).
  • We have in-house training to support your personal development and training needs.
  • DBS: Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check; costs are deducted from salary over the first 2 months (£26.40 standard or £54.40 enhanced). You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service (annual fee £16).
