Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support the 14Forty operation on a part‑time basis (25 hours per week). You will perform minor repairs, maintain exterior areas and help the facilities team manage contractors, while opening and closing the building as required.

The role calls for a reliable communicator who can adapt to changing priorities, uphold health and safety standards, and represent the company with a positive brand image across our 14Forty venue

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.

• Assist facilities team with contractor sign-in/out and compliance.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in 14Forty on a part time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

As a Facilities Assistant, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of facility management with the wider facilities team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Responsible for ensuring the exterior of the site is in a clean, tidy and reasonable state of repair, inclusive of general external maintenance tasks.
• Assisting the facilities team with the control of contractor's process, inclusive of ensuring contractors are signed in correctly, and signed out, and that everyone is adhering to site policies and rules
• Responsible for opening and/or closing the building where required
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
