Job description

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Facilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of operations in Defence on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As a Facilities Assistant, you will:
  • Use your skills to maintain a high standard of facility management with the wider facilities team.

Shift Pattern:
  • Monday: Full-time (Days)
  • Tuesday: Full-time (Days)
  • Wednesday: Full-time (Days)
  • Thursday: Full-time (Days)
  • Friday: Full-time (Days)
  • Saturday: Off
  • Sunday: Off
Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the exterior of the site is clean, tidy, and in a reasonable state of repair, including general external maintenance.
  • Assist the facilities team with contractor control processes, including signing contractors in and out and ensuring adherence to site policies.
  • Open and/or close the building as required.
  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
