We are seeking a Facilities Assistant to help maintain a first-class museum environment. You will carry out general maintenance, support event and room setups, and assist with painting, clearing, and basic repairs. You will test alarms, open and close the museum, and support with electrical tasks such as rewiring plugs and changing fuses. You will also supervise contractors and be part of the out-of-hours call-out rota.

This is a permanent, full-time role, working 36.5 hours per week.

About You

You will have basic electrical knowledge, including rewiring plugs and changing fuses. You will be confident setting alarms and solving problems in the absence of the Head of Facility Management. You will also be comfortable supervising contractors and supporting out-of-hours call-outs.
