You will be working as part of the Engineering team to ensure the needs of the business are met in a timely and effective manner according to the specification. You will be part of a fast-paced, proactive team responsible for managing the grounds and supporting activities related to site facility maintenance management.

Position

Facilities and Maintenance Operative

Based in Yetminster

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 3.00pm, including 1 x 30-minute breaks per day

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

The role involves:

• Recording daily meter readings and reporting through the correct channels
• Maintaining and managing water skid, water softener, air compressors, and boilers
• Maintaining site drainage and reporting issues to the Engineering Manager
• Covering effluent plant engineer duties
• General building maintenance duties
• Carrying out grass cutting and gardening
• Performing repairs and maintenance of site facilities in a timely manner
• Reactive fault finding and rectification of breakdowns
• Recording and analysing data
• Responsible for site enhancement and image
• Carrying out tasks safely in accordance with H&S responsibilities
