Job description

Join our dynamic Warehouse Team as a Facilities and Maintenance Operative!

Are you ready to bring your positive energy and cleaning expertise to our vibrant Novatech site? We're on the hunt for a friendly and proactive Facilities and Maintenance Operative to keep our warehouse clean, tidy and running smoothly.


What you'll be doing:

In this active and varied role, you'll be the hero of hygiene, ensuring our site is spotless and safe. Your daily adventures will include:

  1. Bin Mastery: Regularly emptying and cleaning of recycling and general waste bins throughout the premises.
  2. Housekeeping Hero: Day-to-day housekeeping and maintenance duties, including regular cleaning of the warehouse floors and litter picking to keep our site in tip-top shape.
  3. Beverage Boss: Refilling and maintaining coffee and water machines for our hardworking staff and visitors.
  4. Compactor Commander: Regularly cleaning compactors and washing racking in the warehouse, as well as monitoring stock aisles for empty cardboard boxes and managing their removal.

In addition to the specifics above, you may also be required to take on any reasonable tasks requested from the Warehouse Manager, working efficiently and ensuring safe practices at all times.


What we're looking for:

  1. A friendly, positive attitude and prior experience in warehouse cleaning.
  2. Knowledge of proper waste disposal procedures and safety standards.
  3. Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  4. Physical stamina for standing tasks, walking, and some lifting.
