We are seeking a Facilities and Estates Manager in Leicester for a well-established, family-run group of care homes.
Are you an experienced Facilities or Estates Manager passionate about ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable environments? We need a dynamic leader to manage 12 care facilities, ensuring exceptional standards for residents, staff, and visitors.
As Facilities and Estates Manager, you'll be part of a small, close-knit team working closely with support staff at Head Office. Your responsibilities include overseeing building maintenance, health & safety compliance, and projects across all sites. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining high standards, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing residents' quality of life.
Applicants must have experience in maintaining care home facilities and possess a valid driving license. Retired builders or tradespeople seeking a new direction are encouraged to apply.
The role involves collaborating with Home Managers and Directors to optimize the facilities across the group.
You should be organized, able to prioritize effectively, and capable of handling various maintenance issues, such as flooring repairs, lighting, beds, and paving concerns, with a calm and empathetic approach.
Your duties include pricing jobs, obtaining quotes, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity within a growing company that has recently acquired three new sites, with more planned. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum plus benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
