Overview

Hours: 30 hours per week (38 working weeks, paid for 43).

Craven College is an aspirational College with rural campuses in Skipton, at The Aviation Academy at Leeds Bradford Airport, and at Evolve in Ripon. Tyro Training is our commercial training division offering a wide range of courses in Skipton. The College invests in facilities, including a £1.6m Animal Management Centre on the Aireville Campus and new equestrian facilities opened in 2022. We are seeking a committed and motivated administrator to deliver a high-quality administration service for the facilities department, coordinating systems and processes as directed by the Facilities Manager. The role includes creating and maintaining up-to-date electronic Estates & Facilities files and maintaining an efficient, tidy working environment with timely handling of all relevant documentation.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a high-quality administration service for the facilities department as directed by the Facilities Manager.
  • Co-ordinate systems and processes to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the facilities department.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date electronic Estates & Facilities files.
  • Maintain an efficient, tidy working environment and ensure relevant documentation is dealt with in a timely manner.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Qualified to Level 2 (GCSE Grade A*-C or equivalent) in English and Maths or willing to work towards completion within a specified time frame.
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
  • Basic finance experience.
  • Previous administration experience.
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills.
