National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a Facilities Administrator to support the Facilities function at Tipton. The role involves a variety of administrative tasks including managing front of house duties, contractor monitoring, and maintaining office systems. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills, communication abilities, and experience in administration.

Are you organized, proactive, with exceptional customer service skills? We’re recruiting for a Facilities Administrator to join our team at Tipton.
This role involves carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks supporting the Facilities function under the supervision of the Facilities Coordinator. Responsibilities include front of house duties, meeting room administration, providing advice for other locations, and contractor monitoring.
Along with having experience as an Administrator and/or Facilities role, you will hold GCSEs with Grade A*-C/4-9 or equivalent. Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.
You will need excellent customer service and communication skills with a good telephone manner. Attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work using initiative with minimal supervision are key to success in this role.
Flexibility is required, and occasional travel to support our other facilities in Castle Donington may be necessary. Knowledge of the company systems (E5 / CROWN / CAD) would be advantageous.
National Grid Electricity Distribution is committed to safeguarding the interests of the company, colleagues, and customers. This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check, with different levels of screening and vetting depending on the role. Some roles require triannual checks.
