Job Description

Our client, a Facilities Management Service Provider, is currently seeking a Facilities Account Manager to work on a high-end corporate contract based in the centre of Manchester. The role is a key part of delivering 5-star service across a state-of-the-art office building.

The Facilities Account Manager will provide exceptional relationship management with the client, implement efficiency improvements, ensure operational compliance, and motivate a team of facilities staff. This is a permanent, single-site role in Manchester, offering a salary of £55,000 - £60,000, ideal for a Senior Facilities Manager, Operations Manager, or Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Management and development of site-based teams
  2. Drive and manage the commercial aspects of contracts to ensure profitability and value for money
  3. Maintain high-quality service delivery across all FM operations, including soft and hard services
  4. Identify and implement improvements in service delivery and operational processes, including cost efficiency initiatives
  5. Embed an exceptional customer service ethos
  6. Collaborate closely with on-site teams to meet performance targets and ensure all works are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  7. Ensure full statutory compliance and timely completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  8. Respond effectively to reactive maintenance needs and manage incident reporting in line with company protocols
  9. Oversee all profit and loss aspects of the client contract, working within a budget of around £1m
Role Package
  • Salary: £55,000-£60,000
  • Permanent contract
  • 40 hours, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
  • Site-based role
