The Massage Company in Camberley, Surrey is seeking a qualified Facialist/Skincare Expert to deliver exceptional facial treatments and advise clients on skincare routines.

This role is on-site, 30-40 hours per week with shifts across a 7-day period; ideal candidates are available Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Salary ranges £13.25–£17.25 per hour, including commissions and unbooked hours, with benefits and training in a supportive, award-winning centre.

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in beauty therapy or skincare (UK NVQ Level 2/3).
• Specialized training in facial treatments preferred.
• Knowledge of skincare products and ingredients.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of facial treatments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of exceptional facial treatments
• Analyze clients' skin type and conditions
• Recommend appropriate skincare products and routines
• Maintain hygiene and sterilization standards for tools and workspace
• Keep accurate client records (skin concerns, treatments, products used)
• Provide advice on lifestyle factors affecting skin (diet, stress, sun exposure)
• Upsell treatments and retail skincare products
• Stay updated on skincare trends, techniques, and products

Qualifications & Training

• Certification or diploma in beauty therapy or skincare (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Beauty Therapy in the UK)
• Specialized training in facial treatments or advanced skincare (optional but preferred)
• Knowledge of skincare products and ingredients

Experience

• Entry-level roles may accept newly qualified candidates
• 1-2 years of hands‑on experience often preferred for more advanced roles

• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy and common skin conditions
• Excellent manual dexterity for performing treatments
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments
