Word360 Limited is seeking skilled, passionate and reliable interpreters to provide face-to-face language support for individuals with limited English proficiency in Rugby and surrounding areas.

As a self-employed interpreter, you will work with NHS, local councils, charities and private businesses, travelling within Rugby and Coventry to support access to services. This freelance role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a direct impact in the community.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills in both English and additional language
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple assignments
• Professionalism and enthusiasm, with a respectful and empathetic approach
• Confidence interpreting across medical, social care, and community settings
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child and Adult Workforce, with both Barred Lists). If you do not already hold one, we can assist you in completing your DBS application
• Eligibility for self-employment in the UK

About The Role

Word360 is the Midlands' largest interpreting and translation service provider, proudly partnering with a wide range of clients within Rugby. We are currently seeking skilled, passionate, and reliable interpreters to provide face-to-face language support for individuals with limited English proficiency.

What you'll be doing

As a face-to-face interpreter, you will deliver vital language interpretation services to a range of organisations, particularly within the Health and Social Care sectors. Your assignments may include supporting individuals accessing services through the NHS, local councils, charities, and private businesses.

You will play a key role in breaking down communication barriers, ensuring that every person has access to the services and support they need.

Please note: This role involves regular travel within and around the Rugby and Coventry area.

Languages in Demand

We are particularly seeking interpreters fluent in one or more of the following languages:
Polish, Romanian, Punjabi, Arabic, Kurdish, Tamil, Slovak, Bengali, Farsi, Albanian, Cantonese, Croatian, Czech, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Latvian, Nepalese, Amharic, Vietnamese, Pashto, Somali, Kurdish - Sorani, Portuguese, Telegu, Tigrigna

Additionally, we welcome British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters— both Registered Sign Language Interpreters (RSLI) and Trainee Sign Language Interpreters (TSLI) are encouraged to apply.
