Job Purpose

The Canal & River Trust is a charity responsible for over 2000 miles of canals, rivers, docks, and reservoirs in England and Wales. Our waterways are vital for communities, habitats, and climate change mitigation. We are recruiting a F2F Fundraising Performance Coach to support fundraising results, compliance, and team development, including direct fundraising with personal targets.

Location: Aire & Calder Navigation, Calder & Hebble Navigation, Salterhebble, Stanley Ferry, Wakefield, Southfield (Goole).

Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in face-to-face fundraising and team leadership.
• Ability to coach and develop fundraisers, meet targets, and increase income.
• Knowledge of fundraising standards and compliance.
• Driver’s license required.
• Performance coaching qualifications desirable.
• Experience with recruitment, training, mystery shopping, and performance incentives.
• Proficiency in IT and data analysis.

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work weekends, 37 hours Wed-Sun.
• Support for GDPR and data security policies.
• Criminal record check required for regulated activity involving vulnerable groups.

What We Offer

Salary: £32,000 + £390/month Car Allowance, pension, holiday entitlement, and benefits including discounts, holiday purchase, and wellbeing support.
