Facades Estimator / Sales Manager - Bristol

Base Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facades Estimator / Sales Manager to join a well-established specialist contractor in the commercial fenestration industry. We are seeking a talented and driven individual to take on a senior role in both estimating and business development.

The Role:

You will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive estimates and managing the bid process for the manufacture and installation of:

  • Aluminium windows and doors

  • Curtain walling

  • Rainscreen cladding

  • Balustrades and associated products

You will oversee the work of two estimators while actively engaging with current and prospective clients to identify and secure new project opportunities. This is a dual role that combines estimating leadership with strategic sales growth responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit detailed, competitive estimates and tenders for commercial projects

  • Lead and manage a small estimating team, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met

  • Identify potential projects through long-term client relationships, supplier networks, and lead platforms such as Barbour ABI

  • Develop and expand the customer base by building strong, ongoing client relationships

  • Liaise with system suppliers and internal teams to ensure technical accuracy and commercial viability of bids

  • Contribute to achieving annual sales targets of approximately £6.5 million

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in estimating and bidding within the commercial facades/fenestration industry

  • Strong understanding of aluminium systems and cladding solutions

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to maintain and build client relationships

  • Commercially aware and results-driven, with a strong attention to detail

  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a small team is advantageous

  • Based within commuting distance of Bristol
