My client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Designer to create, detail, and optimize cladding systems. What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing metal roofing, cladding, and façade systems (less experience considered for exceptional candidates).
• Proficiency in CAD software (2D / 3D); experience with thermal or acoustic modelling software is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of aluminium and steel detailing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous design approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Design and Detailing Responsibilities

• Develop and detail rainscreen, twin-skin, and bespoke metal roofing and cladding systems for commercial applications.
• Adapt existing proprietary systems to meet specific project requirements.
• Produce accurate fabrication drawings based on customer specifications.

Technical Support Responsibilities

• Respond to technical queries from clients and provide expert advice.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver tailored designs.
• Maintain and expand the system details library, ensuring consistency in design.
