Job summary

CCL Facades is seeking an experienced Facade Package Manager to lead on-site safety, programmes and delivery for upcoming Yorkshire projects. You will guide the site team and supply chain, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

The role requires strong planning, a multi-skilled background, and a CSCS Site Manager Card, with opportunities for career development within a growing division of the Caddick Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in façade construction and defects.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and legislation.
• Experience in planning.
• Ability to schedule materials and plant.
• Multi-skilled trades background or equivalent degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• CSCS Site Manager Card is required.
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely preferred.
• First Aid Certificate desirable.
• Fire Marshal responsibilities on site.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
• Be responsible and accountable for on-site health and safety for planning and delivery.
• Develop and implement short-term and target programmes with input from supply chain.
• Develop recovery, acceleration and completion programmes and ensure adherence.
• Review Health & Safety, Quality, Programme and Environmental performance as part of the site team.
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks where required.
• Plan and organise site facilities and logistics.
• Co-operate with Quality Manager to review Quality Management System compliance.
• Ensure inspections and documentation are completed to contract drawings and specification.
• Rectify non-compliant work promptly.
• Co-operate with Environmental Manager on EMS findings.

What You’ll Do

Facade Package Manager

• Understand and comply with the Company’s Management Systems and Policies for Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental.
• Be responsible and accountable for health and safety on site both in terms of planning and delivery and to provide leadership to the site team and supply chain.
• Develop and implement short term and target programmes with input from the supply chain and other members of the site team and ensure adherence to them.
• As and when required, and in conjunction with line management, develop and implement recovery, acceleration and completion programmes and ensure adherence to them.
• Part of the site team to review Health and Safety, Quality (Field View), Programme and Environmental performance.
• Develop and deliver site inductions and tool box talks (this duty may be dependent on the project size and specific site responsibilities).
• Plan and organise the site facilities and logistics.
• Co-operate with the local Quality Manager when reviewing compliance with the Quality Management System and action any findings or suggestions for improvement.
• Take responsibility for instilling in the site team and the supply chain the need to complete all relevant inspections and documentation to ensure all works are carried out properly and in accordance with the contract drawings and specification.
• Ensure that all non‑compliant work is identified and rectified promptly.
• Co-operate with the local Environmental Manager when reviewing compliance with the Environmental Management System and action any findings or suggestions for improvement.
• Attend training courses as requested by the SHEQ/HR Departments.
• Co-operate with the SHEQ/HR Departments to allow other site team members’ training and development needs to be met.
• Co-operate with the Ops/Commercial Team and provide feedback on the supply chain’s performance on a regular basis.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience

• Technical knowledge of façade construction build processes and defects.
• Good level of knowledge of health and safety practices and legislation.
• Experience of planning.
• Ability to schedule materials/ plant.
• A multi-skilled trade background and/or degree qualification or equivalent.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• CSCS Site Managers Card.
• SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Fire Marshal.
