Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design process across 2-3 live façade and fire remediation projects from Fareham with hybrid working. You will coordinate architects, engineers and specialist subcontractors to deliver compliant, buildable solutions and manage Stage 5 design through delivery.

The role requires façade/cladding experience, strong regulation knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD with BIM familiarity.

Qualifications

Experience with façade, cladding or external envelope systems.
Proven design management experience across façade remediation or complex building envelope schemes.
Good understanding of Stage 5 design and delivery.
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and fire safety guidance.

Responsibilities

Lead the design process across 2-3 live façade and fire remediation projects.
Coordinate design information from architects, structural engineers, fire engineers, manufacturers and specialist subcontractors.
Manage design development through to Stage 5 and project delivery.
Ensure designs comply with Building Regulations and cladding standards.
Produce and manage drawings, models and technical documentation using AutoCAD and related tools.
Develop practical, buildable and cost-effective solutions aligned with programme and commercial needs.
Chair and manage design meetings, workshops and technical reviews.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure joined-up delivery.
