Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Façade Engineer or Senior Façade Engineer to join our team in London or one of our UK offices. You will lead technical delivery of façade projects, from remedial surveys to new-build developments, and you will mentor junior engineers while building strong relationships with clients and design teams.

The role requires experience in façade design and detailing, capability in multiple analysis and design areas, and a proactive, collaborative mindset under pressure.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or Architect status preferred.
• Experience in façade design and detailing.
• Ability to work independently in structural/thermal analysis, specification writing, glazing or curtain walling design, and detailed drawings.
• Experience managing resources and budgets with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work under pressure.

We are looking for a technically capable individual with good verbal, graphical and written communication skills.The role involves delivering façade engineering services across a varied portfolio of projects, from remedial surveys and inspections through to new‐build developments of up to £100m. Successful candidates will be confident in client liaison and design team coordination, and will take a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.
