Job summary

Cladmate Façade Systems Ltd is seeking a Technical Support & Design Engineer to join our Sales team in London. The role combines technical design, construction knowledge, and commercial focus to support projects from enquiry to order.

You will act as a central technical contact for customers, architects and the internal sales team, delivering design information, specifications and project support with emphasis on compliance and performance.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Civil/Facade/Structural/Architectural Engineering or related discipline.
Experience in construction, façade, cladding, building envelope, or building materials sector in the UK (≥2 years).
Strong understanding of construction methods, specifications and building regulations.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction details.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support across sales, specification and product development.
Produce and maintain technical documentation including data sheets, specs, and installation details.
Prepare information on thermal, fire, and structural fixing requirements.
Develop CPD content and assist with training sessions.
Coordinate technical samples and project support materials.
Support live projects and pipeline development with the Sales team.
