Job summary

Anglian Architectural is seeking an Architectural Glazing & Cladding Designer to join our design team at Newmarket, Suffolk or Great Massingham, Norfolk. You will deliver technically compliant, buildable façade solutions from concept through to manufacture and installation on commercial projects.

The role involves designing aluminium glazing, curtain walling, windows and doors using systems from Schüco, Aluprof and Reynaers, producing GA drawings in AutoCAD, and coordinating with Estimating,

Qualifications

Design experience within the façade market sector, with glazing & cladding
Experience with curtain walling and window/door systems
Knowledge of system estimating software (Schucal, Logikal etc.) advantageous

Responsibilities

Design aluminium glazing, curtain walling, windows and doors using supplier manuals
Produce GA drawings for in-house manufacture using AutoCAD
Coordinate with Estimating, Procurement, Manufacturing and Installation teams
Review client specifications and ensure designs are compliant and buildable
Assist progression updates to maintain drawings programmes
