Job summary

Brown and Wills Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of external envelope projects across the UK. You will lead delivery teams, manage complex supply chains and maintain strong client relationships with tier-one clients and developers.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of rainscreen cladding systems, render, and SFS, plus formal contract literacy (JCT/NEC) and safety qualifications. Travelling nationwide will be expected.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager in cladding, façade, or roofing main contractor.
• Deep technical understanding of rainscreen cladding, composite panels, render and SFS.
• Strong literacy in JCT and NEC contract forms.
• Excellent client-facing skills with ability to manage multiple tier-one relationships.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery: oversee multi-site operations from pre-construction to on-time delivery.
• Commercial & Programme Control: monitor variations, budgets and KPIs to safeguard margins.
• Quality & Compliance: ensure installations meet CWCT guidelines and Building Safety Act 2022 frameworks.
• Subcontractor Management: coordinate cladding, façade and scaffolding packages.
• Health & Safety: drive a safety culture and comply with CDM 2015.
