Job Title: Façade Access Engineer / Technician
Location: London (with occasional UK travel)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Overtime + Benefits

Overview

We are working with a leading provider of bespoke access and safety solutions for buildings across the UK. Specialising in façade access, cradle systems, BMUs and fall protection solutions, the company is seeking experienced Façade Access Engineers/Technicians to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on landmark projects, maintaining and installing equipment that keeps some of the UK's most iconic buildings safe and operational.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair and maintain façade access equipment, including BMUs, cradle systems and suspended access platforms.
  • Carry out inspections, fault-finding and compliance checks in line with LOLER, PUWER and industry regulations.
  • Support installations and commissioning of façade access tracks, monorails and safety systems.
  • Work across electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on-site and provide guidance to junior engineers where required.
  • Travel primarily within London, with occasional projects in Liverpool, Manchester and other regions.
Requirements
  • Experience in façade access, cradle or BMU systems (service, maintenance, installation).
  • Mechanical or electrical background; qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight.
