Job summary

Just Tankers in Belfast is seeking a dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join our team. You will work on a range of chassis and trailers (7.5–32t, 44t) at our Belfast depot, performing MIG and TIG welding, fabrication and body repairs to coded standards. Training is provided and a positive attitude is valued.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am–5pm and Friday 8am–2:30pm with overtime available. Experience in commercial vehicle repairs and reading technical drawings will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial vehicle repairs and fabrication.
• Proficient MIG and TIG welding (Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Mild steel) to coded standards.
• Able to read technical drawings and work from them.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and develop in the role.

Our product portfolio now encompasses Fuel Tanks, Pumping and Metering Equipment, Lube Oilers, Loading racks, Powder Tanks, Waste Tanks and Vessels for Liquefied Petroleum Gas. Quite a growth in a few short years.

As a result of continued expansion, we now need a new dedicated team member as our Fabricator/Welder working on a range of 7.5 – 32t chassis & 44t trailers. The successful candidate will be working in our Belfast Depot. We offer a competitive rate of pay in line with your experience.

You will become part of our team to ensure all projects are carried out to our high standards. Preferably you have had previous industry experience in all or some of the following job roles: - Commercial MIG and TIG welding (Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Mild steel) to coded standards, pipe fitting, fabrication, ,Commercial vehicle repair and body refit background.

On job training will be provided, should not all the above requirements be met, but the candidate must be enthusiastic and willing to learn each of the tasks required.
