An established engineering and fabrication company is seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join their team. Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering and fabrication company in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in Birkenhead

Job Role: Working from engineering drawings to fabricate a range of products from start to finish using TIG and MIG welding techniques on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Operating workshop machinery and completing fabrication work both in the workshop and on site, including installation and maintenance tasks. Involves light and heavy fabrication and may include occasional shutdown work.

Job Details:

• Pay: upto £24.00 per hour
• Pay Types available: PAYE/CIS
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm / Friday 8am - 3.30pm
• Duration: Temporary to Permanent
• Overtime: OT Available at x1.5 & x2

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Light and heavy fabrication experience
• Experience with TIG welding
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience with complete workshop fabrication
• Experience with site installation and maintenance work

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Previous or current coding beneficial

Essential Qualifications:

• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Welding and Fabrication
