Tap Zenn in Bootle, Liverpool, is seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join the workshop team. The role covers structural steel fabrication and sheet metal work, using MIG and TIG welding to produce quality components from engineering drawings.

You will read drawings, measure, cut, assemble, and inspect finished work for accuracy, while maintaining high health and safety standards in a busy fabrication environment.

Responsabilités

• Carry out structural steel fabrication, fitting, assembly and welding.
• Undertake sheet metal fabrication and general metalwork.

• Ensure finished work meets quality and dimensional tolerances.
• Operate fabrication machinery and tools safely.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join the workshop team. The successful candidate will have hands‑on experience in structural steel fabrication, sheet metal fabrication, and both MIG and TIG welding.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who can interpret engineering drawings and produce high-quality fabricated components to specification.

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder.
• Strong background in structural steel fabrication.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Practical MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good measuring, fitting, and assembly skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminium would be advantageous.
