Job summary

GI Group Main Account in Nottingham is seeking a Fabricator Welder to produce metal structures from scratch and interpret detailed drawings. You will operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers and grinders, ensuring precise measurements and tight tolerances.

Experience with MIG welding and varied metals is essential. The role offers day shifts with overtime and a stable, growing project load within a well-established manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong fabrication experience ideally in a heavy engineering environment.
• Experience with different welding techniques especially MIG.
• Ability to work from detailed technical drawings.
• Confident with various metals and fabrication techniques.

Fabricator Welder requited immediately for a well-established manufacturing company in Nottingham. The role will involve the production of a variety of different metal structures.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate metal structures from scratch
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders
• Measure, cut, and assemble steel and other metals to exact tolerances
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications
