Job summary

Job description
Fabricator Welder – Heysham 2 Power Station
About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join the maintenance and projects team at Heysham 2 Power Station. This is a full-time, day-shift position supporting ongoing engineering and fabrication works on site.

You’ll be working as part of an established team, carrying out fabrication, welding, and repair activities in line with safety and quality standards expected within a nuclear environment. Duties will include carrying out fabrication and welding of structural steelwork, pipework, and plant components from technical drawings, repairs, and maintenance to existing equipment, and ensuring all work is completed safely.

Monday to Friday, Day Shift (Full Time)

Pay

£25.21 Basic P/H (Including holiday Pay). Enhanced rates available for overtime and weekend work.

Key Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent)
  • CCNSG Safety Passport (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Ability to work from technical drawings and follow site procedures
  • Must hold, or be willing to undergo CTC Security Clearance
