Are you an experienced Fabricator / Welder ? Wise Employment have a fantastic opportunity for you to join an International Company that’s going from strength to strength and offering a great work culture based in Exeter, Woodbury, EX5.

This is a permanent Fabricator/Welder position offering a salary of between £29,868.80 to £32,385.60 depending on experience along with an excellent benefits package including; Personal development opportunities, referral scheme bonus, long service awards, life insurance, competitive pension and free parking.

Working Monday to Thursday 8am-5:15pm, Friday 8am – 1pm (40 hours per week).

This is a perfect role for someone who is energetic, hardworking and whether it is team based or independent and will take pride in what they do.

Your Day to day duties within this role as a Fabricator/Welder will involve:

• Following detailed work instructions and technical drawings relating to the welding/fabrication of component parts and large assemblies
• Use of Mig/Tig, plasma profiler, guillotine and press brake
• Working on a mixture of large welding projects along with intricate welding
• Maintaining all tools and equipment in a clean and usable state
• Ensuring all relevant documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner

In order to be successful in your application for the Fabricator/Welder role, you must have the following skills and experience:

• Recent fabricating and welding experience
• Be a competent welder and fabricator within various disciplines and techniques and take pride in your work
• Have experience working within a fabrication workshop
• Codification or equivalent experience in welding (Mig/Tig)
• An NVQ Level 3 and/or over 2 years’ equivalent experience
• You will be required to carry out and pass an internal weld test at interview stage
• Have a positive approach to problem solving
