The Company:

Join a distinguished luxury automotive brand based in Daventry with a global reputation for bespoke restorations. Our client stands out for combining timeless designs with modern engineering, creating roadworthy masterpieces that captivate automotive enthusiasts worldwide. With a focus on precision and craftsmanship, our team of master craftsmen ensures every detail is flawless.

As an integral part of the body restoration team, you will be responsible for full car shell restorations using donor vehicles. Working with precision and skill, you'll engage in MIG & TIG welding, cut out and replace corrosion areas, and perform steel fabrication and sheet metal work (1-2mm thickness). Your role will involve panel forming, restoration, and the fitting and welding of roll cages to the highest standards.

The Ideal Automotive Fabricator Welder:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Fabricator Welder with extensive hands-on experience in automotive fabrication and welding.
• The ability to work to extremely tight tolerances, strong proficiency in steel fabrication and thin gauge sheet metal work (1-2mm), and expertise in MIG & TIG welding are essential.
• Candidates with a background in rally car or competition preparation, motorsport bench welding, and experience in restorations and donor vehicles will thrive in this environment.
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver a high-quality finish are must-haves.

Work in a modern, bright, and airy facility on a Day-shift basis, Monday to Thursday (7.00am – 16.30pm) and Fridays (7.00am – 12.45pm) with the opportunity for overtime. You'll be part of an inclusive and supportive team that values a positive attitude and fosters a family culture.

Pay: £25.00 per hour PAYE uplifted to be paid via Umbrella PAYE model.

Please note, this role is deemed inside of IR35. The final pay rate offered will be inclusive of the Assignment pay rate, holiday pay and Apex Recruitments contribution towards Employer Costs.
