Job summary

Genuit Group, via Polypipe Building Services, is seeking trainee fabricators or skilled fabricators to join the fabrication team and deliver high‑quality products in a timely and cost‑effective manner. You will work on stock and bespoke projects, interpret technical drawings, use hand and powered tools, and maintain safety, quality and housekeeping to keep the production area organised.

Working hours are Mon-Thu 08:00-16:00 and Fri 06:00-12:00 with a 30 minute lunch, and staff benefits include

Qualifications

• The ability to interpret technical drawings for manufacture.
• Experience of working in a fabrication role.
• Demonstrated practical experience in a workshop environment and use of hand and powered tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate standard products (stock work) and bespoke (project) products with limited supervision.
• Ensure quality and output standards are met at all times.
• Work in an organised and safe manner, following health and safety policies.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
