Opportunity for Fabricator / TIG Welders

We are offering an exciting opportunity for several Fabricator / TIG Welders to join our client, a company specializing in manufacturing bespoke products for clients worldwide, on a 12-18 month contract.

This role features a 4-day workweek: either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays.

Our client has a rich history of over 70 years in the design, manufacture, and sales of specialist products. Having successfully delivered numerous high-profile projects, they have recently secured another major contract and are looking to expand their team with a permanent Fabricator/Welder.

This position provides a chance to be part of a leading company exporting products to more than 100 countries.

Skills & Experience

• Welding and fabricating bespoke components using stainless steel, nickel alloys, and mild steel, with sheet gauges typically between 0.9mm and 6mm.
• Fabricating frameworks from mild steel rolled sections, stainless steel, hollow sections, and angle iron to high standards.
• Reading engineering drawings and translating them into finished products with minimal supervision.
• Achieving high standards of finish and tolerances on bespoke fabricated products.
• Completing problem logs related to drawings and materials.

• Welding and fabricating bespoke products, including sheet metal, in a light to medium fabrication environment.
• Performing MIG, TIG, and spot welding.
• Working to fine tolerances with accuracy and attention to detail.
