Fabricator Laser Operator

Location: Corby, NN17 5DP | Salary: £13.60 per hour | Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am - 12:00 pm | Employment Type: Permanent (after successful temporary period), immediate start

Due to the continued success of our client, a market-leading manufacturing company based in Corby, Northamptonshire, we have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Laser Operator to join their experienced team.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate press brake safely (training provided if necessary)
2. Operate CNC Laser/Plasma machine safely (training provided if necessary)
3. Operate additional machinery following specific training
4. Use various hand tools as per training
5. Work from drawings and sketches provided by Laser Coordinator/Directors
6. Follow company procedures and seek advice if unsure
7. Meet goals and objectives promptly
8. Maintain cleanliness and safety in fabrication/laser bays
9. Report system failures immediately to the fabrication supervisor

Additional duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have experience in roles such as CNC Laser Operator, Laser Technician, or Fabrication Technician, and be capable of performing physical duties in a manufacturing environment.
