Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking a Fabricator / Assembly Technician in Stanley, County Durham. The role involves the assembly of steel doors, sheet metal fabrication, and basic welding tasks in a workshop environment.

Regular overtime, 33 days holiday and a pension scheme are available with a full-time, permanent contract. You will work from Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:30 and Friday 8:00–15:00, with overtime opportunities boosting earnings and long-term job security.

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience required for component assembly.
• Fabrication experience preferred for sheet metal parts.
• Experience in MIG welding to support welding tasks.
• Must be commutable to Stanley for regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble steel doors using power tools and basic equipment.
• Fabricate sheet metal components and perform welding as needed.
• Operate press brakes and assist fabrication tasks to finish products.
• Follow production procedures and maintain quality Standards.
