Fabrications Team Leader

Cheltenham - rural location, must drive

Salary - £40,000pa, days only

My client is a well-established firm, manufacturing bespoke factory automation systems. We are seeking an experienced Fabrications Team Leader to join an existing team, following a new investment into their fabrication unit. This is a permanent position with potential for development and progress within a constantly growing company.

You will lead a small team and will need experience in press brake in particular so that you can efficiently support your team members. Experience in team leading is a must, as well as understanding of lean processes, along with a strong can-do attitude.

Fabrications Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Leading, supervising and motivating a team
• Managing the workflow
• Interpreting technical drawings
• Ensuring H&S and work logs are followed and up to date
• Managing attendance, sickness, holidays etc.

Fabrications Team Leader Requirements:

• Sound experience of fabrication processes
• Be a strong team leader

• Experience of using press brake

• Understanding of Lean processes and 5S
• Excellent communication skills are essential

This Fabrications Team Leader opportunity is based in Alcester until end of 2025 and from 2026 will be based near Cheltenham so you will need to be able to access both locations comfortably.
