Job summary

Brampton Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Fabrication and Welding Tutor/Assessor in Stoke on Trent. The role combines practical welding/fabrication instruction with assessment, coaching and learner support to help students achieve qualifications and progress to employment.

You will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress, provide feedback, maintain learner records and prepare learners for End-Point Assessments where applicable.

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach or train; TAQA/A1/D32/D33 or equivalent assessor qualification.
• Experience delivering welding and fabrication training in FE/work-based settings.
• Proven ability to plan, deliver and assess practical and theory sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical welding/fabrication training.
• Plan and deliver structured lessons to meet learner needs.
• Assess learners against qualifications and apprenticeship requirements.

Skills

Teaching qualification

Assessor qualification such as TAQA/A1

Welding/fabrication experience

Work-based/FE training experience
