Job summary

Manpower is recruiting an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join the production team at our client, a leading engineering manufacturer. The role involves welding mild and stainless steel, reading drawings, and operating guillotines and press brakes in a busy production environment.

You will work to high quality standards, meet production targets, and develop within a supportive team. Permanent, full-time position with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous fabrication and welding experience.
• Skilled in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld mild steel and stainless steel components.
• Perform MIG, TIG and MMA welding.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Operate fabrication machinery including guillotines and press brakes.
• Grind, finish and quality-check completed products.
• Meet production targets while maintaining high quality.
