Job summary

The Fabrication Sourcing Specialist at eTeam Workforce Limited drives sourcing for fabrication, machining, welding, assembly and related manufacturing scopes during bid phases. You will work with Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, Quality and Project Management to develop competitive sourcing strategies that meet quality and commercial requirements.

The role focuses on obtaining supplier quotations, analysing cost drivers, assessing capability and risk, and delivering sourcing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, business, or equivalent experience.
Significant experience in sourcing, procurement and fabrication supply chain management.
Experience supporting commercial bids, proposals, or project execution.
Knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, machining, assembly, coating, and pressure-containing equipment.
Strong negotiation and supplier management experience.
Experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools.

Responsibilities

Lead sourcing activities for fabrication-related RFQs during the ITO phase.
Develop sourcing strategies that balance cost, technical quality and delivery standards.
Engage suppliers early to secure quotations and competitive pricing.
Support bid reviews with sourcing recommendations and risk assessments.
Drive supplier participation and ensure timely RFQ responses.
Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Sales and Engineering on proposals.
