Job summary

Prime Appointments is recruiting a Technical Detailer in Witham to convert client drawings into fabrication documentation and manage CAD-based details. You will read architectural drawings, determine window and door specifications, and ensure accurate transfer of data into configurator software.

The role requires experience with CAD drawings and software like LogiKal, SchuCAL or Klaes, plus strong Excel and Word skills. A strong eye for detail is essential, and standard office hours apply.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and understanding CAD drawings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand architectural/engineering drawings.
• Identify window/door types, sizes, profiles, and hardware requirements.
• Resolve discrepancies or missing information.
• Transfer information from CAD drawings into configurator software.
• Convert CAD drawings of windows and doors to fabrication documentation (profile cutting & machining instructions, bills of materials, technical CAD drawings).
• Collaborate with fabrication craftspeople & technical support teams.
