As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class and consistent building maintenance service across a variety of client properties.

Your work will involve general fabric maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, and repairs, as well as planned and reactive works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for fabric-related PPM and reactive works to meet customer expectations
  • Carry out maintenance across exterior works, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry
  • Undertake external ground works and provide callout cover as per rota
  • Manage contractors on site, including issuing Permits to Work
  • Ensure all equipment operates to performance and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of documentation
  • Proactively liaise with clients and suggest service improvements

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a commercial environment
  • Skilled in a range of general DIY and basic maintenance tasks
  • Confident communicating daily with clients and site teams
  • Proactive with a good understanding of Health & Safety
  • Standard and SC vetting clearance required
  • Trade or H&S-related certificates beneficial but not essential
