Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Technical Admin Assistant to join the Fabrics team. You will manage data, track fabric developments and samples, and prepare for meetings and fit sessions, gaining end-to-end exposure to the fabric lifecycle.

The role suits someone early in their fashion or product development career with a keen interest in fabrics and a proactive mindset, with full training provided.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of garment and fabric technology.
Computer literate with strong Excel skills and knowledge of PLM systems.
Good organisational skills and an eye for detail.
Multitask oriented with the ability to meet deadlines for the Buying critical path.
Understanding of Marks & Spencer buying process.

Responsibilities

Contribute as an active member of the team to support Fabric Technologist and Sustainability teams.
Understand PLM system including CP Management and reporting.
Assist Fabric Technologist to upload supporting documents to PLM.
Communicate information to Fabric Technologist, Project Managers and wider Fabric & Sustainability team.
Support PLM fabric library management ensuring clean data input and traceability.
