Job description
Overview

PRS Recruitment Agency is seeking an experienced Fabric Supervisor to work with some of our most prestigious clients across London.

Responsibilities
  • A high level of communication, particularly in reporting to line management and client contacts, fosters a collaborative environment in which to discuss and outline activities with both line NG Bailey and client teams.
  • Line management of team, including all HR and Operational activities to ensure a safe, healthy and proactive culture.
  • Compilation and submission of extra work quotations to the customer.
  • Adherence to set standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
  • To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with aspects of the completed works.
  • Early diagnosis of fabric or plant problems/failures that may impact on the client's business and impact safety. It is essential that the details of all plant problems/failures are communicated to ensure swift action and resolution.
  • To coordinate and undertake planned tasks in accordance with set schedules, ensuring standards are maintained in order to maximise the appearance and operational effectiveness of the building and associated systems. To include a range of fabric maintenance activities such as painting and decorating, carpentry, building and stadium inspections.
  • Pre-event surveys and repairs.
  • Lead the Fabric provision during Events, working flexibly to support some weekday evenings and weekends.
Working hours

40 hours - 8-5pm Monday to Friday + OT

What we’re looking for

An experienced Fabric Supervisor working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) with the utmost regard for customer service.

Qualifications
  • NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 - Fabric discipline (building, carpentry, decorating, etc)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Experienced in the aspects of general building Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
  • Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment
  • Desirable - Competent working knowledge of water systems and Legionella Awareness
