Job summary

Superdry is seeking a Fabric & Compliance Technologist to join the Fabric & Compliance Team. You will help deliver our fabric programme, support Suppliers with compliance, testing, and certification, and guide on international legislation and territory-specific requirements.

You will manage supplier fabric quality from submission to shipment, drive a right-first-time ethos, and develop technical information and PLM data with stakeholders to maintain high fabric standards across categories.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a textile expert.
• University educated in a technical textile discipline.
• Knowledge of fabric production across wovens and knits.
• Familiar with PLM systems and data management.
• Experience with chemical compliance initiatives across products.

Responsibilities

• Manage Suppliers to deliver best quality fabrics and provide fabric submission comments in line with SLA.
• Encourage a right-first-time approach and improve performance with Suppliers.
• Own fabric quality from photo sample through to shipment.
• Manage test results and fabric disposition on testing platforms.
• Input comments and fabric specifications onto PLM and maintain libraries.
• Support sourcing initiatives and fabric developments with Suppliers.
• Create technical information, reports and manuals with stakeholders.
