Bank of England is seeking a proactive Fabric Technician to join the Property team in London. You will support maintenance and upkeep of the estate, ensuring safety, compliance and high standards across critical buildings including Head Office and other London properties.
You will perform planned and reactive fabric works, coordinate with contractors, and maintain records using Planon IWMS while prioritising customer service and safety. This role is based on-site in London.

The Engineering team comprises over 50 colleagues and covers the Bank's (x3) core properties located in London & Debden (Essex). The London properties, comprise of (x2) properties; the Banks grade 1 listed Head Office at Threadneedle St and a more traditional modern office building at 20 Moorgate. Our property located at Debden is the Banks print works. All (x3) buildings are highly critical to the Banks operations and possess various levels of critical systems to support those operations.
The Engineering team is responsible for maintaining and operating all installed engineering systems, providing reliable and resilient operations 24x7x365 across office, data centre, front/back office and production environments, consequently a wider breadth of engineering exposure exists.
You will undertake planned and reactive fabric maintenance works, building inspections, repairs and refurbishment activities, ensuring our buildings remain safe, compliant and maintained to a high standard. Working within an operational environment, you will help minimise disruption to business activities while delivering excellent customer service.

The salary for this role is £33,390.
