Escape Recruitment has a new opportunity available to join a leading FM provider based in Edinburgh who is recruiting for a Fabric Joiner/Handyperson to join their team.

Your role will be mobile, covering various sites within the Edinburgh area.
Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance of the building fabric for all associated commercial buildings.

Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for carrying out building fabric and general FM maintenance.
• Happy to provide support to other trades within the mobile team as needed.
• Assist with all PPMs and reactive maintenance within set time frames so that the client's expectations are met.
• Assisting with general repairs across the commercial sites which include: a large part of the contract will be working on internal doors. Additionally working on repairing/replacing doors, windows, skirtings, walls.
• Ensure you always take a proactive approach when dealing with the client and ensure that any remedial/ issues are dealt with or escalated to senior management if necessary.
• Working within Health & Safety legislation at all times.
  
  
  

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Current/previous experience as a Fabric Joiner/ Handyperson role.
• Experience of carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance.
• You will ideally have existing experience within a busy, FM environment.
• Full driving UK licence (6 points maximum).
• Happy to complete Disclosure Scotland.
  
  
  
• Up to £32,500 + van
• Uniform.
• Overtime.
• Holidays 32 days.
• Pension.
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm.
