Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a dedicated Fabric Technician/Handyperson to maintain a building in the Reading area. The role supports the Contract Manager and delivers engineering excellence through operation, maintenance, and repair of building fabric and systems.

Responsibilities include completing Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, operating building systems efficiently, updating electronic workflow systems, and maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining building fabric and related systems.
• Ability to perform Planned Preventive Maintenance and reactive tasks.
• Comfort with updating electronic workflow systems and keeping accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
• Operate and monitor building systems to ensure efficiency.
• Issue site permits and review service provider worksheets.
• Inspect work quality and maintain high housekeeping standards across areas.
• Maintain compliant records and update electronic systems.
