We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fabric Engineer / Handy Person to join our mobile facilities team dedicated to the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) contract.
Working across a network of 15 regional Job Centres, you will deliver planned and reactive maintenance to ensure safe, compliant, and fully functional work environments.
This is a mobile role, ideal for someone with a multi-skilled maintenance background who enjoys variety, independence, and working across multiple sites.
You will carry out a broad range of maintenance tasks including carpentry, joinery, painting/decorating, minor plumbing, and general fabric repairs, supporting both planned maintenance schedules and urgent callouts.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records via PDA/CAFM systems, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, and representing the company professionally to all site stakeholders.
