Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • General Carpentry
  • Fire door maintenance and repair
  • Weekly fire alarm testing
  • Weekly tap flushing
  • AHU Cleaning & Servicing
  • Basic plumbing and drainage repairs
  • Patch repairs to wall and floor tiling, carpets, lino & screeds
  • Suspended ceiling repairs
  • Shelving /racking
  • Lock changes/repairs
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Working hours as part of the site's shift pattern
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company’s PPM and task schedules
  • Undertake PPM activity professionally
  • Produce technical and situational reports as required
  • Use technology systems proactively to ensure compliance
  • Perform requested works professionally and proactively
  • Communicate clearly with team and clients
  • Provide first line out of hours call out
  • Write activity reports accurately and timely
  • Assist management with quotations for extra works
  • Attend team meetings/briefings
  • Provide accurate timesheet information weekly
  • Maintain a professional company image
  • Perform reactive maintenance as directed
  • Escalate major issues promptly
  • Manage sub-contractors on site
  • Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation
  • Handle materials and equipment safely
  • Participate in health and safety processes
  • Follow additional instructions from management
  • Co-operate to fulfill legal and moral duties

Additional training will be provided as necessary

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • Fabric Engineering apprenticeship or similar
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or above
  • Post apprenticeship practical experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high-quality service
  • Flexible and team-oriented
  • Ability to work overtime
