Fabric Engineer – Commercial Campus – Whitechapel – £45,000 + Premium Benefits

Location: Whitechapel, London
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (rotating shifts)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

CBW Staffing Solutions are working with a high-profile, client-direct commercial campus in Whitechapel to find a skilled Fabric Engineer to join their on-site engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, forward-thinking environment where your expertise will be valued and rewarded.

This is a Monday-to-Friday schedule and a rotating shift pattern, offering excellent work-life balance. You’ll be the go-to person for fabric and general maintenance tasks across the estate—no two days will be the same.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Carrying out general fabric maintenance and repairs across the campus

- Painting, decorating, and light cosmetic work

- Minor carpentry tasks (e.g. fixing doors, locks, and fittings)

- Installing shelves, whiteboards, blinds, and more

- Supporting basic electrical duties (e.g. lighting checks and replacements)

- Assisting with room setups and internal moves

- Supporting statutory compliance tasks – tap temps, flushing, fire alarm tests

- Keeping logbooks up-to-date and assisting subcontractors on-site

Working Hours

- Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts):

- Week 1: 07:00am – 16:00pm

- Week 2: 10:00am – 19:00pm

- On-call rota with additional payments
