Qualifications

Job description

Fabric Technician

CBRE is seeking a skilled Fabric Technician to join our team in Bishops Stortford. The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive maintenance, site surveys, and various building repair works, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed timescales.

Responsibilities
  1. Respond to reactive works within the team.
  2. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescales.
  3. Liaise with client representatives regarding maintenance and repair tasks.
  4. Undertake site surveys and produce work requests, method statements, and risk assessments for planned works.
  5. Repair floor and wall coverings, ceiling tiles, and undertake other building and installation works as required.
  6. Manage lighting, lamp changes, filter changes for AHUs/FCUs, and basic plumbing requirements.
  7. Utilise PDA for work completion, communication, and updates.
  8. Complete reactive, PPM jobs, and projects promptly.
  9. Undertake minor project works.
  10. Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
  11. Perform all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
